광학 7배줌 슬림 디카, 삼성테크윈 VLUU L77
상품 진열장 앞에서 지갑을 만지작거려야 하는 상황은 누구에게나 수시로 찾아온다. 눈에 들어온 마음에 쏙 드는 물건에 달린 가격표가 부담스러울 때, 구매할 계획이 없던 터라 충동구매의 유혹 앞에서 고민해야할 때가 그렇다.
반대로 주머니 사정은 여유가 있는데 선뜻 마음에 드는 상품을 고르지 못하는 경우도 있다. 가격부터 기능까지 엇비슷한 제품이 너무 많다보니 선택하기가 쉽지 않은 경우다. 어떤 경우가 됐건 후회하지 않는 결정을 내리려면 욕심을 버리고 가장 필요한 기능, 중요하게 생각하는 포인트를 스스로가 냉정하게 찾아내야 한다.
삼성테크윈(www.samsungcamera.co.kr)에서 출시할 예정인블루 L77(VLUU L77)을 놓고 그런 상황에 처했을 때 고객들에게 선택 받을 수 있는 제품이 될 수 있을까? 블루 L77이 고객들에게 던지는 가장 큰 유혹 포인트는 7배 광학줌과 슬림형 디자인이다.

7배 광학줌이나 슬림형 디자인을 따로 떼어놓고 보면 별로 매력이 없다. 10배, 15배나 되는 광학줌 기능을 탑재한 디지털 카메라가 적지 않은 마당에 7배 광학줌 기능이라면 오히려 초라해 보인다. 군살 빼고 날씬해지는 다이어트 경쟁이 뜨거운 휴대전화나 콤팩트 디지털 카메라 시장에서 슬림이란 단어는 더 이상 특별하지 않다.
하지만 7배 광학줌을 슬림형 콤팩트 디카 속에 담았다면 매력 포인트가 될 수 있다. 블루 L77은 두께가 21mm인 슬림형 디카이면서도 7배(35mm 환산 38∼266mm)의 광학줌 기능을 채용해, 광학줌 성능이 뛰어나면서 휴대성도 좋은 콤팩트 디지털 카메라를 찾는 고객들을 유혹한다.
가로 세로 크기는 각각 94mm와 57mm, 전지와 메모리 카드를 제외한 무게는 135g으로 얇은 만큼 크기나 무게도 슬림형 디카로 무난하다. 이미지 센서는 1/2.5인치 크기의 710만 화소 CCD를 탑재했고, 렌즈는 밝기는 F3.5∼F5.4를 지원한다.
최대 이미지 해상도는 3,072×2,304 화소로 동영상의 경우는 최대 640×480 화소로 일초에 30프레임까지 촬영할 수 있다. 특히 압축률이 높은 MPEG4 방식을 채용해 512MB 용량의 메모리 카드를 사용할 경우 최대 3시간 10분 분량의 동영상을 촬영하는 것이 가능하다.
접사 촬영은 최대 10cm까지 가능하다. 셔터속도는 자동에서 1∼1/1,250초, 야경 모드에서는 15~1/1,250초까지 지원한다. 촬영 모드는 자동, 프로그램, 11가지 메뉴 중에서 선택할 수 있는 장면 촬영 등으로 구성되어 있다. 저장매체는 SD, SDHC, MMC 메모리 카드를 사용하며, 20MB 용량의 내장 메모리도 탑재했다.
디스플레이는 23만 화소를 지원하는 2.7인치 크기의 컬러 TFT 액정이 들어가 있다. 음성 녹음과 메모, 촬영한 이미지의 해상도를 바꾸거나 특별한 효과를 낼 수 있는 간단한 편집 기능도 사용할 수 있다. 또한 저장된 동영상에서 원하는 부분을 잘라낼 수 있는 동영상 추출과 캡처 기능도 제공한다.
이 밖에도 역광이나 설경을 촬영할 때처럼 적정 노출로 사진을 촬영하는 것이 쉽지 않을 때 노출값이 다른 3장의 사진을 촬영한 후 가장 잘 나온 사진을 고를 수 있는 노출간격촬영(AEB)도 활용할 수 있다. 전원은 660mA 용량의 전용 리튬이온 충전지를 사용한다. 판매 가격은 아직 알려지지 않았다.
